New Live Recordings

December 12th, 2007

On December 8th, our composition department held its semiannual composers’ forum concert. Two of my pieces were performed–an a capella setting of the Ave Maria text and “Nightflower,” a short piano and cello duet. You can listen to both pieces in the music section!

Agnus Dei Choral Recording

June 16th, 2007

There is now a live choral recording of my composition “Agnus Dei” in the music section. It was performed by the Mountain View High School Choir and conducted by myself. I was rather impressed with the choir for learning the piece in only two and a half weeks! Check out the .mp3 and sheet music in the music section.

Music Section

November 25th, 2006

I have just added a new Music section to my site. I’ve been composing recently and thought this would be a great place to share my music.
I would love to hear your feedback on any of the pieces!

Ye Olde Art

July 27th, 2006

After digging through some random parts of my hard disk, I found a folder deceptively titled ‘Older.’ What lay inside? Why, nothing but my old… and I mean *old*… 3D “art.” This is stuff from my humble beginnings, when I thought an unrealistic drop of unrealistically-reflective water was teh coolness. But hey–everyone has to start somewhere. I thought I’d post it here for nostalgia’s sake, as some of you may recognize this art from the old elYsiun days when my nick was “blenergetic.” Plus, I just haven’t posted in quite a while!

I think my favorite of the bunch is probably “Crystaline” (the one with the bright rainbow crystals). Which is yours?

MacCast Widget

February 6th, 2006

If you’re into Apple, and you’ve gotten into the whole podcasting thing, you may have heard of the MacCast. If not, you should check it out. Anyway, some listeners whipped up a Dashboard widget for keeping up with postings on the MacCast site. I saw it and thought I’d help out by spiffing the graphics up a bit.

If you’re running OS X Tiger, you can download the widget here.
